Specialisation: Cognitive Geography, theories of self-organization in relation to cognitive maps, urbanism, agent-based modeling, socio-spatial change, spatial and regional archaeology.
Current research: (i) Inter-representation networks and the construction of cognitive maps. (ii) The city as a self-organizing system. 2D and 3D urban simulation models.
